Today, unintentionally I search for prophetic medicine when I was in youtube and found this lecture:

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:

 

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “There are two blessings which many people lose: (They are) Health and free time for doing good.”

Akhirnya, semalam dapat juga pengganti buku nota ini..yang telah dihilangkan secara sengaja awal bulan Ogos hari tu. Alhamdulillah. Buku ini amat bermakna buat ku. Rasa tak lengkap handbag aku tanpa ada buku ini. Apa sahaja yang aku rasa, yang aku lalui, semua ada disini. Tak semua lah kot…tapi yang aku rasa penting untuk dicatatkan. Apapun aku bersyukur telah dapat pengganti 😉

The importance of Knowledge

There are a lot of hadiths saying about importance of knowledge. I search on Sunnah.com and found about these hadiths. Just want to share some :

It was narrated from Jabir that :

the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) said: “Ask Allah for beneficial knowledge and seek refuge with Allah from knowledge that is of no benefit.”

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏ “‏ سَلُوا اللَّهَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا وَتَعَوَّذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لاَ يَنْفَعُ ‏”‏ ‏.‏

Abu Hurairah said:

“I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying: ‘This world is cursed and what is in it is cursed, except the remembrance of Allah (dhikr) and what is conducive to that, or one who has knowledge or who acquires knowledge.’”

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ الرَّقِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خُلَيْدٍ، عُتْبَةُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ عَنِ ابْنِ ثَوْبَانَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ قُرَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ السَّلُولِيِّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ ‏ “‏ الدُّنْيَا مَلْعُونَةٌ مَلْعُونٌ مَا فِيهَا إِلاَّ ذِكْرَ اللَّهِ وَمَا وَالاَهُ أَوْ عَالِمًا أَوْ مُتَعَلِّمًا ‏”‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

“Seeking knowledge is a duty upon every Muslim, and he who imparts knowledge to those who do not deserve it, is like one who puts a necklace of jewels, pearls and gold around the neck of swines.”

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ شِنْظِيرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏ “‏ طَلَبُ الْعِلْمِ فَرِيضَةٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ وَوَاضِعُ الْعِلْمِ عِنْدَ غَيْرِ أَهْلِهِ كَمُقَلِّدِ الْخَنَازِيرِ الْجَوْهَرَ وَاللُّؤْلُؤَ وَالذَّهَبَ ‏”‏ ‏.‏

It’s Anniversary year!

I never thought on the same date as today is the first blog I wrote for the past 10 years. Only when I scrolled down the side menu, to check when I start blogging, I realized about this. Well, up to now, I had 53 posts! I remember the first year I create this blog to fulfill my boring time, especially at work. At that time, I was just move from other ministry to my parent ministry. I spent 8 years there with flying colors, with happy working mood. But when I move out, the mood gone. It will never be the same again and never can repeat. So much I cherish the every moment I spent my time there. Here, the current working office for me, is challenging too. But to make me falling in love with it, it’s hardly to do it. As my age increase, I can no more pull my strength as the earlier time I do it. I called it Golden Years (copy it from Muslim Golden Age). And so with my friends, they also thought the same as I am. Well, time flies very fast. I need to cherish my aging years now and more importantly I have to live healthily and happily ever after (sounds like I will meet my Prince charming sooooonnnn…hahahahaha).
